At Maher Sports we believe in doing things the right way and this is very relevant in our tennis department.  We feel the only way to promote us and give the best advice is to have some of the best coaches on board to keep us up to date on the tennis market and what the players require.
To do this we work closely with the coaches below and using both their feedback and experience and our own we strive to offer the best ranges and best advice available to us.

Sporting Ambition:
To be a physical trainer at the top level.  Every sport at any level requires proper physical preparation, in Ireland this is one area that
needs huge improvement.  Look at the pros and you will see a common trend that it's no longer just the tennis coach, in fact a physical coach is a must have in the modern game.  Rodger Federer has no coach but two physical coaches, as the great man says "when I move well, I play well".
As a coach and a trainer Conor believes 99% of players in Munster have the potential to bring their game to the next level, whether they are grade 7 or grade 1, with proper tennis specific training.
Training for sport has come a long way since the days of lung bursting runs.  As a SAQ trainer Conor has seen the difference this training can make, after all most if not all professional sports people train with this system.

Conors tip: Train fast, play fast.
